For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Mint Stickered 1947 Parker VS Fountain Pen & Pencil Set in Black Plastic. This fountain pen has been thoroughly taken apart, cleaned, put back together, and is now in wonderful writing condition.

I have replaced the old sac with a new, properly sized one. Hand polished the Lustraloy Cap, Clip, Clutch Ring, and 14K Parker NIB. This Parker VS measures 5 1/2" capped and 5 7/8" posted. The Pencil measures 5 1/8" inches.

The fountain pen cap, barrel, and blind cap are in magnificent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The Lustraloy Cap displays the word "Parker" on the clip. The cap has no denting and no scratches, it is a mint example. The Cap has a pearlized jewel at the top that has been polished to high shine. The barrel is stamped on two lines, "PARKER VS MADE IN U.S.A. with date code 7 (for 1947) in the 1st quarter". The feed is a clear Lucite type that were found on the earlier models. There are no monograms or personalizations to either the cap or barrel. Lastly, the original stickers are on the Fountain Pen barrel.

This Parker VS has the Aluminum Button Filling System. I have tested the filling mechanism with water and fills as it should.

The Parker NIB is 14K and has a medium point measuring roughly .61mm when measured with digital calipers. The pen may have been dipped at one point - I did not have any ink flushed out of the old sac, so I cannot say it is new old stock, just in Mint Condition and Stickered.

I am including a matching Parker VS Twist action Pencil as shown in the listing images. It propels and repels lead as it should.

This vintage Parker VS Fountain Pen & Pencil set was only made for 2 years. The VS stood for Vacumatic Successor. It is a Mint Example that is part of the history of Parker that I want others to share it.
